A Roadside Florida Motel With Modern Conveniences
Gettin' Freaky in the Tiki is a fun, retro themed call back to the days of the 1960's roadside motels in Florida. Adorned tiki heads and flowered leis throughout the condo, you'll have a rough time leaving this faux tropical island paradise! We expanded your view of the islands in the living room with your view of a tropical paradise, bamboo-esque furniture adorns the condo, accompanied with fun signage paying homage to the pin up girls of a part era. The kitchen counter base is a fun retro tiki fabric that was mod-podged to the counter top and then covered with epoxy. The 1940's baker's rack holds additional kitchen items. In the soft lit bedroom, is our plush, memory foam King-size bed is adorned with fluffy pillows. In bed, you'll look across the room to a hammock where a hula girl and her beau left in a hurry to go skinny dipping. On your way out...capture a selfie with our selfie wall, and let everyone know you got lei'd!

We can't say enough about Doug and Traci or their place! Absolutely beyond top notch! From booking instructions to checking in all the way to checking out, the communication on their end was superb. If every Airbnb was ran like this there would never be a complaint! As far as the unit...flawless, you couldn't find something wrong with it if you tried. Spotless. Everything was in it's place and easy to find and/or use. We would highly recommend this place to anyone, and judging by our stay and this unit I would recommend ANY other units Doug and Traci have. We can't wait to come back! Well done sir and ma'am!

Great Stay! Doug was a great host. Very responsive and helpful. The condo is about a 7 minute walk to the resort, pool etc. The property was clean and comfortable. I will say, I never thought so many tiki decorations could be gathered into one place LOL!

We had a great time at Freaky Tiki! The place had everything we needed. The kitchen was very tiny, but we did not plan to cook! The bed was very comfortable. The resort had great pools and hot tub.

We both had a wonderful time in Freaky in the Tiki and at Paradise Lakes Resort. Doug was very helpful at check-in and also graciously extended our checkout time. The condo was carefully decorated and furnished. We highly recommend this condo.

Great stay and nice condo. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the screened porch overlooking the pond. Had everything we needed. The gate pass was also available to use. Communication with Doug was excellent. Neighbors were all nice. All in all, it was a great stay and we'd stay there again. Appreciate Doug allowing us to rent his condo.

We had the best time visiting Paradise. We were down over New Year's and spoke with other guests that had an Airbnb with them and they raved. We stayed in the freaky tiki; they met us and showed us the condo and made sure we were comfortable and had water and snacks for us since we arrived later than expected. The condo was very quiet, and the bed and pillows were awesome! We slept like a rock! The place was neat and clean and had everything you need on your trip. They also gave some recommendations for places to eat which were great as well. I would highly recommend a stay with Doug and Tracy. We will definitely use them again when we get the opportunity to come back.

This condo is very well put together - everything we needed was in the kitchen, there were plenty of towels, the Tiki-themed decorations are clever & fun. The location is good & plenty of parking. Only issue is that 2 of the next door neighbors are smokers so we had to shut the door to the porch a few times. The owners are very friendly and helpful. All & all a great choice!

Fantastic place to stay. Can’t wait to go back. We had a fantastic time, I highly recommend this property 100%. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on, very comfortable living room, and well-stocked kitchen. The condo is perfect for a couple or single person wanting to enjoy the amenities of the complex. Doug and Traci are great hosts, always available to assist you or answer questions.
